Drive-Up Donation Pickup ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent local service based in Tooele County, Utah. We collect donations from your door and deliver them to Deseret Industries on your behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Deseret Industries or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

2. Information We Collect

When you schedule a pickup or create an account, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your street address and city
• Pickup preferences (date, time window, item types, bag count, notes)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card number)
• Account credentials if you register with email/password, or a Google account ID if you sign in with Google

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect standard web analytics data such as pages visited, device type, and browser — through Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics 4.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, confirm, and complete your donation pickup
• To send you confirmation emails and live status updates about your pickup
• To respond to contact form messages
• To process your payment through Stripe
• To improve our website and service through aggregated analytics data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your data only as needed to provide the service:

• Stripe — processes your payment securely. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Resend — used to send transactional emails (confirmations, status updates). Only your email address and name are shared.
• Firebase (Google) — stores your account and pickup records, and provides analytics. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Cloudflare — hosts our API infrastructure. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.

We do not share your address or phone number with any third party beyond what is required to complete your pickup.

5. Data Retention

We retain your pickup records as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies through Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Authentication, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of analytics tracking
